Tucked away in an old disused warehouse near Cardiff’s Central Station is ‘The Depot’ its home to some of Cardiff’s most creative pop-up events. Every week they host a selection of Wales’ finest street-food traders, covering everything from, juicy seaweed flavoured burgers, Dirty Bird Chicken, spicy noodles, Welsh Pies, wood fired pizza and local craft beers.
Our welcome party is a chance to meet your hosts from Visit Wales; and settle in for a great night of Welsh food, drink and entertainment. As Cardiff born children’s author Roald Dahl said ‘”expect the unexpected”…. We look forward to meeting you at the Depot.
Getting there: in all honesty this is a ‘surprising’’ part of the city! (it’s set to be redeveloped very soon) But it’s only a five minute walk from Cardiff Central Station and the city centre. The Depot is on Dumballs Road, walk down the road from the rear of the station until the first bend, the Depot is in a warehouse on the left.
When: from 7pm
Our final weekend of street food fun kicks off at 5pm tonight. All ages welcome in our winter haven! #Foodies #StreetFood #StreetFoodWinterSocial #MerryXmas A photo posted by Depot Cardiff (@depotcardiff) on
