Project: Antartica

Dennis Vogt

Dennis Vogt is one of three directors behind the documentary PROJECT: ANTARTICA, which was recently released across Germany. For him, filming while hanging from an airplane by a belt or being stuck down a mine shaft is no reason to worry. Only when the battery is empty or storage is full does he panic, and he likes to keep his team on the go. He also shoots and edits his own documentaries and commercials for the advertising industry.

Tim David Müller-Zitzke

Tim David Müller-Zitzke is a film producer and photographer. While still a student, he started working on the travel documentary PROJECT: ANTARTICA, which was released in German cinemas in late 2018. He has previously worked on the Hollywood blockbuster INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE, held lectures at Oxford and Cambridge, and been a brand ambassador for Adobe since 2016.

Michael Ginzburg

Michael is a hard-boiled adventurer, speciality – polar regions! Despite seven continents and several full passports, his enthusiasm cannot be taken away. As a photo and video journalist he prefers to share them in pictures – reported for National Geographic from Greenland at the age of 21. Other international media followed. As expedition leader for adventurers and TV productions from all over the world, he is used where a rescue team no longer comes to the rescue.

After working for Google in the advertising industry for around 3 years, Igor has decided to change his creative direction and subsequently joined YouTube. Currently he is a Strategic Partner Manager for the Creator & Artist Development team in London, where he is managing strategic creator relationships for the German market to unlock their full potential on the platform. His passion for social media, photography and the fashion & lifestyle industry enables him the possibility to moderate a variety of events concentrating on YouTubes offering, personal Creator development and audience growth. David has a passion for traveling and telling stories. Currently he works in Hamburg and has reported for a variety of German media outlets, including RTL Nord, WDR, Delta Radio and the Hamburger Abendblatt. In addition to his reporting, he also moderates a variety of events concentrating on the transatlantic relationship and the current challenges on both sides of the Atlantic.
Will Carmack
Will Carmack is a traveling filmmaker who was born and raised in Virginia. He saw little opportunity on his side of the east coast, so as soon as he graduated college with a degree in Media arts & Design, he moved to Los Angeles. After developing a specific skill set of special effects he’s worked as a creative advertiser for Redbull, Yes Theory, Joey Graceffa, and now Nas daily. 3 months ago he decided to go travel the world to develop himself as a creator and a person. So now he is making special effect driven travel films, YouTube shorts, and editing tutorials.
Justin Weiler
Justin is the founder of Campfire Creative, a London-based Production Company that crafts stories for brands across commercial, luxury travel and non-profit. With 15 years in the travel industry he’s been making a name for himself as a one-man band delivering imagery for Abercrombie As a travel photographer/filmmaker you’ll often catch him jet setting around the world on insta @justinweiler. He’s a content creating machine and loves the blend of motion & still photography.

Michael Tomas is an architecture and timelapse photographer with social media influence on Instagram as @LondonViewpoints. His journey started in London where he became the go-to guy for tips and recommendations about best places to go in London for views, rooftops bars, hotels to stay at with panoramic vistas and attractions to visit that give a unique perspective over the city. With time it opened him the opportunity to work with leading travel, leisure and hospitality brands in London and now around the world as his recommendations map continue to grow.

Mandy Celine is a filmmaker who specialises in digital content. With her loyal base of global clients and her own unique style she finds herself creating full time as your video production ‘gal pal’. And when she isn’t working on assignments, she makes travel films herself. She knows social video. Her work has been recognised by several tv networks, magazines and agencies, and she has been able to travel all over the world developing her craft and honing her photography & video skill-set. Her clients run from creators with a fanbase of millions, to BBC or Greenpeace, to name a few. Ultimately, Mandy is passionate about telling a person’s story; whether it’s poetry, interviews or lifestyle editorials. In fact one of her edits actually ran on ABC’s ‘Right This Minute’ across America. She looks forward to helping and teaching you how to make the most out of video on social media; from YouTube and Facebook to Instagram.

Shu is a London-based vlogger, writer and freelance videographer specialising in food, travel and lifestyle verticals. With a background in digital advertising and strategic brand partnerships at Unruly to Content Producer at Lucky Voice, Shu brings her knowledge of business within media to her current venture as a professional content creator (which fulfils her childhood dream of being paid to eat around the world). As a graduate of YouTube’s NextUp programme as a creator to watch, Shu has gone on to collaborate with the likes of TUI, Channel 4, Rosetta Stone, Topdeck, Rabbie’s and SortedFood.

In 2006, she started her blog “Kathrynsky”, focussed on lifestyle, fashion and travel. From 2010 to 2013 she worked at a PR agency where she was responsible for consulting, editorial and Blogger Relations. Since June 2013, she worked as a freelance creative communication consultant with a focus on: concept and strategy development, blogger relations, target group analysis for companies and blogs, profiling for blogger editorials, and workshops promoting successful collaborations between companies and bloggers. For the past 6 years, she got even more into travelling, meeting people and telling their stories. Whether the former president of the Maldives or musicians from Hamburg – she's looking for the backstage view. And never loose the sight of her own perspective.

Always in love with fashion, art and other parts of the (pop) culture, Frida started her personal style blog FRIDAFRIDAFRIDA back in 2013 to transmit her affectation of it. Even before her blogging, she assisted in several music videos, fashion shootings or short film productions. Today she lives with her three kids and boyfriend photographer Carlos Fernandez Laser in Hamburg/Germany. Always being in front of the camera as blogger or model, she now feels the change of being part of the creative and production team behind it. Steve Hänisch is a User Experience Designer turned travel filmmaker and blogger from Hamburg in Germany. Ever since traveling has been a very important part of Steve’s life – but: born in the GDR he was not able to travel everywhere in his very young years. 

After working in the corporate world for 10 years a trip to Chile sparked Steves interest in South America and made him quit his job and travel through the continent for 7 months taking on many outdoor challenges from the Andes in Peru down to rural Patagonia. During that time Steve wrote a Blog and filmed videos for family and friends back home which quickly reached a much wider audience.

Given the success of his articles and videos he decided to turn it into his new profession.
