Pollença, the beautiful area of the Serra de Tramuntana (mountain range), is the northernmost of Mallorca. It comprises the town of Pollença and the towns of Port de Pollença, Cala Sant Vicenç and Formentor. The Town of Pollença offers a special attraction in that visitors can explore the village on foot. Here, tradition, history, architecture and culture all combine for those who visit us.
We will start the walking tour is the Convent of Sant Domingo; its construction was begun by the Dominican friars in the sixteenth century and was completed in 1616. Since its restoration it has become one of the representative centres of the cultural activities of Pollença. It is the headquarters of the International Contest of Fine Arts, Music Festival and the Museum of Pollença.
