SIGHTS

Old Town Hall Tower

A significant historical building in the centre of Brno.

The Old Town Hall is used mostly for culture purposes these days with a gallery, information and an exhibition about its history. 

You may also stumble across one of Brno's legends, a crocodile (also known as the Brno dragon).

Ossuary at St James Church

10-Z bunker - Self Guided

Originally an air-raid shelter built during World War II, from 1946 the 10-Z bunker was known as Löwy & Šmíd, a wholesale wine store until it was shut down by the Communist government.

The shelter was completed in 1959 and was intended to protect up to 500 people important for controlling the city and region for three days. Join the tour and learn the full history of the bunker and all its secrets hidden in its labyrinth’s narrow underground corridors.

VIDA! Science Centre

Try the coolest experiments at VIDA science centre. Play with lightening, flames, levitating super magnet.

Try to freeze your own shadow, ride bike on a rope or become a fighter pilot too. There’s plenty to keep you entertained at the Vida centre.

3 buildings of Moravian Gallery

Moravian Gallery in Brno (Moravská galerie v Brně) offers their permanent exhibitions free of charge for all the visitors, so you are more than welcome to explore them on your own.

You can choose from three different buildings and exhibitions or visit them all.

The Governors Palace (Místodržitelský palác) – Brno suburbs of Vienna

This exhibition explains the art relationship of Brno and capital of Austria. You can get lost in mirror labyrinth, see real painting by Peter Paul Rubens or play interactive game suitable for kids and adults.
