WHAT IS WAYPOINT?

ONE EVENT, OVER TWO DAYS, FOR INFLUENCERS, JOURNALISTS AND CONTENT CREATORS TO MEET WITH THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY.

Following a hugely successful event in 2020, Waypoint is back this year.

Now more than ever people are familiar with networking, socialising and doing business from behind their laptop screens. So cancel all those sporadic Zoom meetings, messy calendar invites and arrange to meet during Waypoint.

Being part of Waypoint is a super effective way to keep brands/DMOs connected with the very best content creators, journalists and influencers from around the world.

All in the space of two productive days.

What People Say About Waypoint

Megan Gougeon - Head of B2B Partnerships, SafetyWing
Waypoint by Traverse is a can't miss event for brands looking to connect with creators in the travel industry. I was blown away by the calibre of attendees and impressed by how easy it was to book 1-1 meetings. The two-day event saved me from what would have been hours of research, outreach and organisation to achieve the same reach. Communication and support leading up to the event was also exceptional and I look forward to participating again next year!
The TEFL Org
It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Traverse, the support throughout has been superb! The team have gone out of their way to ensure all questions were answered thoroughly, we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future.

I loved the way Waypoint facilitated the opportunity for creators and brands to meet during these changing times and it shows the power and capabilities of online conferencing!

About Waypoint 2020. Chance to meet such a variety of participants - content creators, freelance journalists, bloggers, photographers, vloggers and influencers, podcasters, publishers and so on - provided an opportunity to generate new ideas for future projects, it was like contribution in brainstorming with talented and enthusiastic professionals.
Scott Tisson - Intrepid Escape (www.intrepidescape.com)
In a difficult time it was great to network again with tourism boards and brands, wherever you are in the world. If you can't meet face to face, this is the next best thing.
Fiona, Company Director - GECPR.co.uk
The inaugural Waypoint event was a great way for me and my team to meet inspiring and talented content creators and journalists from across the globe at a time when face to face meetings are not possible. This event very much fulfilled a need and desire for the communications side of the travel industry to get together, and share ideas and plans for moving forward into 2021.

Waypoint was a great event - with a mixture of exhibitors and travel experts. I really enjoyed the seminars on sustainable travel and how to pitch to brands during a pandemic. There was plenty of opportunity to speak to attendees in a variety of ways.
William Tang - goingawesomeplaces.com
Waypoint was a well-executed virtual conference and one of the first of its kind for content creators. I was able to create meaningful connections and learn valuable new things and to think this was all at home. Kudos Traverse team!
Korea
Ruby - Marketing Coordinator, Korea Tourism Organization
Waypoint provided a really innovative and useful way for us to connect with a large number of content creators who were interested in our destination. We really enjoyed chatting with people "face to face" and discussing ideas for next year - one of the best virtual travel fair formats I've seen yet!
