#SpainMemories Mingle & Waypoint 20 Closing Party

While there will sadly be no in person Mingle event this year, that doesn't mean we can't have a great evening and enjoy some chat, fun, games and drinks together.

For the third year in a row we'll be partnering with the Spanish Tourist Board for this event and will be sharing some amazing #SpainMemories.

Open to Waypoint attendees and those unable to attend the daytime events, please register here.
Make sure to get involved with the fun by sharing your best Spain memories, using the hashtag and tagging in Spain on Twitter (@Spain_inUK) and Facebook (@Spain.info.GB).

We'll be kicking off the event at 7:30pm (BST) on 14 October and throughout the evening we'll have some great activities for you to watch and take part in, these include:
  • A special Sangria class (to start, so we all get a drink to kick off!)
  • A tapas demonstration and masterclass
  • A live Flamenco musical performance
  • A mini Spain based quiz
  • Amazing prizes given out throughout the evening
  • Other fun and games to be announced on the night
For the Sangria and Tapas we’ll be joined by Joanna and Raul, part of the fantastic team at Insiders Travel.

Insiders Travel create incredible Spanish experiences, whether you’re in the country of virtually from your own home. These include some incredible tours, bespoke trip planning, wine experiences and loads more. You can check out Insiders Travel on their website and follow them on Instagram and Twitter.

Raul Orantes a wine and gourmet expert, will be leading us in making two delicious Tapas dishes, Pan am Tomaque and Banderillas on 14 October. All of the ingredients that you’ll need are listed on the sign up page. Before this, and to start the evening off in style, Joanna Wivell will be taking us through how to make the perfect sangria (ingredients below).

After this fantastic food and drink it’ll be on to more fun and games including a fantastic live Flamenco performance, directly from Madrid, from the amazing Alvaro Antono Villar, mini Spain quiz and much more.

We’ll also have amazing prizes to give out to the best #SpainMemories that are shared on social media!
