What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
Enabling these cookies is not strictly necessary for the website to work but it will provide you with a better browsing experience. You can delete or block these cookies, but if you do that some features of this site may not work as intended.
We use cookies to:

This helps us to improve the website and the information we provide. Google Analytics stores information about pages you visit, how long you spend on each page, how you found the website and what you click on whilst visiting. We do not collect or store any personal information such as your name or address, and we do not identify you via personal information.

Ticketing Data
When you purchase a ticket or register for a Traverse event, your registration is processed through Connect, our event management platform, with payments handled securely via Stripe. We store your name, email address, contact number and data relevant to your content channels and social media profiles.
We use this information to manage event logistics, produce name badges and analyse the demographics, niches and audience profile of our attendees. Anonymised data may be used in post-event reporting and audience analysis.
We do not share your payment details with any third party organisations.
Third Party Organisations
Many of our events are delivered in partnership with other organisations such as Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs), tourism boards and brand partners. As part of the event delivery process, we share attendee names, content channels, social media profiles and contact details with the host destination partner.
Attendees are informed of this at the point of ticket purchase and give their consent as part of the registration process. Third party partners may not contact attendees for marketing purposes unless the attendee has explicitly opted in to receive communications from them.
We will not share sensitive personal information or payment details with any third party.

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold about you at any time. To make a request, please email our team at info@traverse-events.com.
