Traverse – Our Mission & Core Values

“To provide the skills & opportunities to enable members of our community to become successful online content creators and help them to create a lifestyle that gives them more freedom and flexibility.”

Way back in 2013 we published our original Mission Statement, Vision and Core Values.

Fast forward six years, six main conferences and ten huge events later and we’ve progress as a company in an every changing industry. So with that in mind, we’re updating our Mission and Values to represent Traverse in 2020 and beyond.

COMMUNITY

As Traverse has developed over the years it’s clear to us that community is at the centre of what we do. For examples, take a look at Traverse Mingle, the main Traverse conference or the range of other events we put on.

CREATIVITY

Not only do we encourage creativity, innovation and left field thinking internally at Traverse but we love to see creators pushing the boundaries and even have a Traverse Creator Award in innovation.

INCLUSIVITY & DIVERSITY

At Traverse we’re passionate about diversity and inclusivity, both with our projects and events. We understand that audiences need to be able identify with our content creators. Representing diversity across our work is key to achieving these aims.

GROWTH

Traverse encourages growth with our skills based learning and conference sessions, Traverse team members embrace a growth mindset when it comes to everything we produce.

FUN

We believe that fun increases our productivity, bonds our community and builds relationships. Without fun we wouldn’t have even created Traverse in the first place!
