EXCLUSIVE LONDON GALLERY EVENT

Samsung Three gallery event

At Traverse we have always been passionate about the ability to create incredible photographs on your mobile phones.

Three Logo

We partnered with Three and Samsung to show what can be done with the camera on the new Samsung Galaxy S9.

40 incredible content creators were tasked with capturing unique photographs with the Samsung S9, the best of these shots were printed and displayed to the public at the fantastic Herrick Gallery in Mayfair.

For the participating creators we ran a series of workshops with some talented photographers. These workshops taught mobile and photography skills for those attending with the aim of educating and inspiring the creators in mobile photography.

Aperture and Depth of Field Photography

09 July

Kim Leunberger

London Bridge, 6:30pm

In this workshop, Kim will focus on using the aperture on the phone at your advantage. Aperture is the ability of the lens to open and create a blur around the subject that you choose to focus on. It’s especially helpful if you want an object to stand out in your photograph, drawing the eye of the viewer onto it. The subject can be a wide variety of things. A person, a glass of wine, a lamppost or even a miniature car, being able to master it will create a beautiful atmosphere around your subject.
