Where to find Traverse at World Travel Market

With one of the most exciting weeks in the calendar taking place next week, we wanted to share with you what Traverse will be up to during World Travel Market, running from Monday 5 November to Wednesday 7 November.

As an official partner for the Digital Influencer sessions at WTM, Traverse will be hosting some exciting seminars this year. We would love to see many of you there, so here’s where and when they will be taking place:

Blogs, YouTube, Instagram, these are just three of the platforms available when it comes to working with online content creators and influencers. But which is the best for you? There is no doubt that platforms such as YouTube and Instagram are constantly changing, along with new platforms popping up and disappearing on a seemingly weekly basis. During this session we have invited Marko and Alex Ayling aka the Vagabrothers to discuss the direction that online content creating platforms and social media are heading in the next few years and how brands and destinations can be best prepared.

‘Working with Influencers – getting the most from what you have to offer’

Wednesday 7 November (12:45 – 13:30)WTM Global Stage – AS1350

Have you ever thought about whether you’re utilising everything at your disposal when it comes to working with content creators? Hotels are more than a bed and a pool, airlines are not just a seat and a meal. And that’s exactly why for this session, Julie Falconer from A Lady in London and Kash Bhattacharya from Budget Traveller will be discussing how to effectively use what you have to show the authenticity of your product offering when it comes to working with content creators. Showing the importance of selling the experience not just the product.

As you can see, the Traverse team will be very busy running seminars during the three day exhibition, as well as running around attending meetings, on stand events and networking. Additionally to that, we’re also hosting our annual Traverse Mingle on Friday 2 November at the wonderful Royal Star in East London. As well as the Mingle, we will also be hosting a Traverse ‘Happy Hour’ on Tuesday 6 November at the Sama Bankside.

Please note, tickets for Traverse Mingle and Traverse Social are now sold out. You must have have a valid ticket to attend either of the social events.
